OLPS commemorates its 50th Founding Anniversary

As OLPS marks its 50th Golden Jubilee, the school celebrated through a Eucharistic Celebration and the unveiling of the commemorative marker at Antipolo Cathedral on October 25, 2022.

Most Rev. Francisco de Leon, D.D., the Bishop of Antipolo, was given the honor of presiding the Golden Jubilee Eucharistic Celebration at 10 AM with priests, sisters, teachers, students, and guests as the honorary audience.

Before the mass, Sr. Anabel Dela Cruz acknowledged the Most Rev. Fransisco de Leon, the faculty and staff of Our Lady of Peace School, and those who joined the celebration virtually through her opening speech.

While despite the rain, the OLPS’ Blue Marching Condors continued to shine while performing after the Eucharistic Celebration to entertain the guests and showcase their talents after the mass.

The blessing of the Golden Jubilee Commemorative Marker was held to memorialize the history behind OLPS. The said event was led by Bishop de Leon; Dr. Jorge Pacleb, Asst. Principal/HS Academic Head; Mr. Jefferson Urminita, OIC of 50th Anniversary; and Mr. Marlon Gamez.
